Meet our Owner/Operator

Philip Hassler

Our Operator, Philip, grew up in Arlington, Texas, and his connection to Chick-fil-A began at just eight years old. From an early age, he spent countless Saturdays and weekday afternoons in the restaurant—breading chicken, handing out samples while dressed in various Chick-fil-A costumes, and, his personal favorite, working the drive-thru.

Philip is a graduate of Baylor University, where he met his wife, Sara. Together, they have two wonderful children—one currently in college and the other in high school.

In the summer of 2013, Philip and his family returned to Texas, where he served as the owner-operator of the Chick-fil-A at The Parks Mall in Arlington. A few years later, they relocated to the north side of the Metroplex to open the Chick-fil-A CityLine location in March 2017.

Philip considers it a true privilege to be part of such a vibrant and growing community.

• Favorite Movies:  “Road to Morocco” This oldie but goodie is part the “Road to” movie collection starring Bob Hope and Bing Crosby made in the late 1940s to early 1950s

• Favorite Musicians: Johnny Cash, U2, Jay Z (2000s)

• Favorite Toy as a kid: He-Man and the Masters of The Universe Castle Grayskull
